Family Room Color Update

Family Room Color Update

While I can’t take the credit for the family room design (the owners have great taste!), I did advise on the wall colors to create a more customized look.

Serene green entry wall unifies the staged focal display & ties nicely into the peaceful, yet neutral color living room area– Some furniture rented but most reused from other areas of house.

Kitchen Color Update: Before & After

Kitchen Color Update: Before & After

Keeping the existing countertop & cabinets but removing one upper cabinet to give kitchen more openness along with updating the tile backsplash, cabinet colors & hardware, new flooring helped to give this kitchen a fresh updated look within a limited budget.

Custom Bulit-in

Custom Bulit-in

A well made unique custom, yet dated, family room built-in wall unit had new cabinet doors created from old unused built-in sections to increase storage capacity, eliminate visual clutter and update the TV display area.

Painted stripes transform a boring off white hallway to an interesting color showcase for framed vintage photos and an antique tin ceiling tile collage.

Instead of renting new furniture, to stay within the home seller’s budget, I tried to reuse pieces from other areas of the house. In this case, the room’s color scheme came from the new vibrant bedding.

Painting the walls a coordinating shade of peach enhances the fun artwork and other accents in this children’s bathroom.
